It's garbage that might fill a time slot on a local public television channel with its cheap impressionism, but with the competition present in streaming media and film it's got no chance to turn big dollars. It's inherently non-creative and just can't put forward the depth of thought required for the intentionality behind strong character design and immersive storytelling. AI's place is in drawing out general impressions. Its a quick bucket fill for "some grass right here" or "what might this look like as a fork"? So it can be a great tool for quickly prototyping impressions around a specific, narrow concept but it needs too much constant direction to be capable of making anything production-level. AI can't truly replace any creative jobs without dramatic loss of quality in the role's output.
