basically he got sent to prison because he was found in possession of a pornographic image involving a child, or " underage girl" as the reporter described it. They couldn't nail him on the deep fake photos he was distributing but they nailed him for having an image of a child which is at least some kind of result. Being registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life I think is going to pretty much ruin it for him, he is a despicable individual so he deserves all he gets.
