You think it’s just going to affect people who lose their job to AI? It’s much worse. Tens to hundreds of millions will be looking for a job to survive. You know what that means? Employers will have infinite leverage. The long end of the stick. This means they can offer the shittiest salaries and conditions, and there’ll be millions desperate enough to accept it. Because it’s either somebody accepts those conditions, or I just buy another robot to do it.
TL;DR: Even people left with a job will see their money and conditions go straight to shit.
