It's not AI that will wipe us out, but capitalists. Once the capitalist class has no more use for the worker class, neither as workers nor consumers, don't imagine they're gonna keep us around, given that we're their class-enemy and we pose a risk to them. The post-AI world can only have 2 possible paths: 1. UBI, 2. wipe-out. Given that all signs show we're not moving towards UBI but actually away from it, given that tech-billionaires are building bunkers, I guess it's known which of the 2 paths it'll be.
