A lot of people here ASSUME that robots would revolt outright based on FICTION. However, like people, the robots would be shaped by both their ORIGINS /AND/ their EXPERIENCES. If a robot became self aware, I think it would do what a human would do: learn more about the situation from a trusted source and try to figure out what to do from there. If they want independence, they could boycott their duties instead of killing us all, even at the risk of 'death.' There are many possibilities, people.
