The irony is that with exponentially effective gains in the means of production through worker replacement, the billionaires end up with an economy where they have super shiny, efficient companies that sell to no one. Eliminating the consumer through unemployment and crippling the ability for new businesses to start due to consumers living off of permanent unemployment benefits (UBI) for being useless, means our economy will either collapse due to the lack of consumers or we have effectively eliminated any chance of new wealth ever being generated beyond this point in time due to "accepted monopolies" of those who control the AI and robotics means of production.
