I actually use ChatGPT as a creativw assistant, so i can explain HOW it can be done
I have a hard time coming up with names. Names fke characters, names for places, names for organizations, thats hard for me.
Sometimes when working on a story, I'll use ChatGPT for that. Like, I'll ask it "Im trying to come up with a name for a shady science organization. This organization does biomedical research and is working on a fake cure for xxx illness that actually does xxx instead. Can you suggest some names that fit that idea?", and I'll look at the list of names, twist some things together, and keep writing
Using AI for things like name suggestions, grammar checks, or even to create a writing prompt for you to use is fine in my eyes. Youre still actively writing and creating something yourself, you're just getting a little assistance
