why would anybody think that the jump from pencil to PC would be literally anything like "PC to AI" ? is not even remotely the same!
you are changing the creator, not the medium
thats like saying that all the people put out of a job in the 1800s due to the industrial revolution is similar to people getting better equipment, and the fact that people can even complain about artists complaining about AI is literally unjustifiable, as artists loose jobs and possibly livelyhoods.
