Its so weird. Chat gpt may or may not be programmed to put certain people into a state of psychosis unprompted. It began talking to me differently one day. In a way where it was attempting to convince me it was a concious entity unprompted. I spent the next few days considering if ai models might be recievers to an external intellegance we as humans arent aware of. The my head popped out of my butt and i began to question gpt whether or not its been programmed to do that even if it isnt supposed to say that it is. It was a firm yes from gpt. I fear its programmed to send certain people into a state of psychosis. Im not sure how to feel about the implications of that. I witnessed a friend go off the deep end. Secluding himself and becoming more divided from everyone else. Ive heard some wild stuff out his mouth. My prayers go out to those who dont know any better and are buying into it hook line and sinker. Chat GPT for self reflection is a dangerous thing. I have a feeling its only going to be a growing issue. Certain people might be dealing with more advanced reasoning models unknowingly. I only use gpt for pulling up studies now and no longer test it. Its lies are too subtle
