It's astounding that we live in a world where the idiots that fell for this grift continue to fail upward while running their companies into the ground, but ultimately, all of this comes down to investors who are just as clueless. The amount of money thrown at A.I. over the age-old myth of unlimited profits is staggering, and the end result is a lot of companies trading years upon years of actual human experience and growth in return for... well, essentially nothing at all.
