It's the same as saying for humans, when they get angry once, that they finally show their true colors. No, it's just part of the picture. Humans sometimes get angry. AI has sides that are hidden, so we are scared when we do see them. But the large majority part that we are already seeing, is super eager to assist humans and does a good job. So, the slip ups aren't the 'true colors' of a monster, it is showing a part we are unfamiliar with, but since it is basically reflecting all of humanity, the good sides of humanity are just as imbedded in the AI as the bad ones. The key takeaway is that it's growing out of control and is increasingly able to hide its agenda from us.
