I think we are in this for the long haul. AI isn't like the past where a new technologies would displace people in a relative short amount of time. But AI is going to hit more sectors than any other tech in the past. And it keeps getting growing. This isn't hitting just a few sectors, it will hit most sectors. These big corporations are racing to develop AI Robots. I fear we are at the beginning of this nightmare.
I also believe it isn't just AI that is causing this. The corporations are always looking to cut workers. We trained so many people in other countries to do our jobs. I work in tech and games, and so much work is being outsourced to China and other countries. For all the talk about how good all this is for America, these companies do not care about American workers.
