I like all the points you make here and agree with them. I look at the middle ground and using AI as a tool. Instead of telling it to write the story, you say "give me 5 questions to help me work through my writers block" "give me journal prompts to help me create a daily writing habit." I wanted to write about a race of beings that had a biological organ that produced cybernetic cells. After telling it my ideas, it suggested making it part of the lymphatic system and it taught me how the lymphatic system worked. I even went into midjourney and played around to create a picture of the cell to help me describe it better. I think you guys did an excellent job being specific about real issues and concerns, and I don't want to detract from those points. Use AI to become a better writer and to write better stories, not to write the stories and not to steal someoneelse's style. AI can also make creativity and art more accessible by helping answer those questions all artists have in the beginning, helping overcome the biggest obstacle, your own doubt and lack of self confidence.
