I work with a lot of creators in the Tabletop Role Playing Game world. Most creators are all for AI image generation IF!!! And only IF!!! it can be proved that the training material was all willingly given, licensed or sold. Most market places for RPG products have already put a ban on stock "art" generated by AI, and require notices of any other products that use AI imagery, such as adventure books.
Many smaller creators hate that stance because "it is how we make a living" (what were they doing before these tools?) or "It is the only way I can afford art in my products". (I recommend hiring me to do your artwork because I live in a 3rd world country so $$ speak extremely loud here :grin:)
