Duh, doesn't matter if quality is different or whatever, businesses need products, not the process. Same with websites and CMSes, businesses don't need some expert webdev to make a perfectly clean and optimized website, they need a working page to sell their shit, that's why Wordpress and alikes are still living.
So, yeah, ethics of some random code eating up your pic and producing a product of questionable quality would not be a concern if businesses or jsut random people didn't opt in for this quick+cheap work.
