Recently saw someone saying they used to be 100% against AI but then saw people doing stuff like making up the “clanker” “slur”, and I was like yeah I hate when people go that far but I don’t get why that would make you not against AI anymore, and they went off about how “you people” are just attacking a SYMPTOM of capitalism and only talking about it for brownie points and using conservative talking points to say what REAL art is and always generalizing people who aren’t vehemently against AI like maybe they’re like 50% against it now (I already said I don’t agree with people going overboard like that, and now THEY’RE generalizing ME?). And like I’m not saying I’m gonna go around calling people “clankers” now my morals aren’t that flimsy, but seeing how reactionary a MODERATE AI fan got over me ASKING A QUESTION, it definitely has me more cynical about such people.
