I am disabled, poor (USED to participate in nanowrimo), 100% against generative AI, and work for the disabilities services office of a small college. We are not allowed to give any accommodations in a class that will change the course aims and objectives. So like, we can allow a person to have a spell-checker on an in-class writing prompt, but we can't cut the amount of homework they have in a class. We (fairly certain this is school policy, though I think some of the professors don't care) won't allow someone to use AI as an accommodation because it is considered plagiarism. It might be their prompt, but it is not their work. Also, does anyone know where to find some of the groups to beta other peoples' work? I'm very picky on what I read (mostly because I'm very picky in what I like, and don't think I could give a fair review to someone whose work is way outside my genre) but would love to be able to help other people and potentially find a new story I really enjoy at the same time.
