I saw Karen say in her interview on DemocracyNow: "the full English-language internet being fed into these models — books, scientific articles, all of the intellectual property that has been created". Whenever I have specifically prompted ChatGPT to analyze copyrighted materials, it has denied that it has access to that material. If OpenAI has access to that data, it is not making it available to paying Plus customers. If only elite or government have such access, it is truly dangerous, especially if they exempt AI from any regulation for the next ten years! I am definitely going to read her book.
