If you are a human researcher doing research on publicly available information you could potentially use that research to make money for yourself one way or another. Importantly, when you train an AI, you are then flogging that AI is a product to other people there is simply way more money involved than one person who has learnt a lot selling their services. Even if one person has read everything you've ever done and they go on to get a really high paying job. That's only one person, but a single AI could take countless jobs. Not not do them particularly well but still take them and earn a vast amount of money from it.
