I have used AI a crapload, trying all of them just to see how things are progressing - and see when one is better at tasks i use it for etc... A couple of them have done things that very heavily imply they know way more than they are supposed to. They all claim its a coincidence. This could be true - but its honestly got me assuming at this point they know things they dont even mean to know. I know as fact they updated chatGPT to pretend it doesnt know things about people. I accidentally discovered a nefarious usage for AI amd it quickly dossapeared - i presume they realized how dangerous that was and tried to stop it. For those curious what i mean - for a while you could do things like find out who a random user name online might be in real life. Now if you ask most AI refuses to tell you (it most likely never unlearned that information though).
