Ok
So I create songs with collaborators, and I have also created a few AI songs…
The common thread is that I write the lyrics solely with both creations
So when i input my lyric and have ai do the music and the vocals..
If anything I should still get 50% publishing since I have written all of the lyrics, right???
But of course you can’t share 50% with a computer…
So I should then get 100% for the song creation, right?
If anything…
I think an AI company might sue me for 50% of the work since they came up with the music and the vocals…
But in this situation
, I think I should be pretty safe in claiming rights to the song?
I personally think that a song can never be a song without lyrics…
It is the whole framework for the song…
The music and the vocals are created around the lyrics…
But that’s just my opinion being a lyricist
