Although I completely agree with all other points, and in general dislike ai art. I think when it comes to talking about using ai art as a reference, and how it’s unrealistic/messy, I don’t think that point will hold. With the progression of ai so rapidly in all other fields, I don’t think it’s unlikely that ai art will become at least as believable as real art in the near future. That isn’t to say I prefer ai art in any way, even for references, but I think that it will soon reach a human level of realism.
