Current AIs do not use symmetry groups to optimize tasks, they find patterns. Adding symmetry groups to OCI can speed up the algorithm by x100 or more and improve accuracy at the same time. LLMs do not discover such group actions and integrate the result into the solution method. Superintelligent AIs will be capable of doing this.
