Human artists don't just create mash-ups, or remixes. AI "art" does. There's no artistic intention or merit behind AI "art" that merits it being called art. Calling it art is insulting the artists whose work AI steals to do watered-down and meaningless remixes of artists original, copyrighted art. AI Slop is a far more accurate term that people have come up with, after seeing its "art".
