All the AI doomers forget one thing... Humans may do things AI can do, but that we prefer to see done by people: teaching, art, therapy, helathcare, politics, relationships, curation, anything that involves face to face, etc... Add some form of universal basic income that makes poverty obsolete... Purpose will shift — from producing and surviving, to experiencing, creating, connecting, and searching for meaning in a world where survival is automated. The challenge wont be unemployment; it'll be how to avoid nihilism.
