AI isn't the issue. Not having access to technology free zones is the issue. We no longer have our self sustaining communities. Everything is city centred. No shops, no water, food, clothes. We had access and made what we needed for ourselves. We rely on large scale societies to stay alive and soon large scale societies will rely on AI to keep itself alive. And if a few million of us need to evaporate to obtain optimal performance - we have nowhere else to go.
