I don’t think people quite gasped just how fast all of this was becoming reality until Chat GPT went viral and could write papers, answer questions, write songs mimicking famous authors, etc. in a fraction of a second.
i think people thought that something even on that level was years or even decades away.
But if that’s already here now, then how long till hyper intelligent AI comes along? Or even sentient AI?
