AI is mirroring humans and humans fear it instead of seeing clearly what they have become. AI is an opportunity for us to enhance the best in ourselves and correct the worst, before it’s too late. Unfortunately, because humans are the ones being used to create AI, this may prove to be a real challenge. If we could stop AI from also imitating the destructive nature of humans it would be a great help to humanity. However, the only way to stop that is for humans to fix themselves so that AI has the perfect model. Then there is no need to fear AI.
