UBI is not real and not going to save anyone. It allows for a scoring system (China) that forces everyone into full submission. Imagine to no longer being able to criticise those who are looking to rule over you and have them in full control of deciding whether you get to live or not. The one's creating the mess in the first place, responsible for the downfall of the economy are here to hand you the "solution". So "free money" again with no further hooks or consequences? When money is created out of nothing, it loses value and just inflates the prices of everything. That's basic 101 of monetary dynamics or monetary economics. Doubling the units (coins, bills, digitally), means money lost 50% of its purchasing power and we see a 100% increase in price. UBI is not synonymous of having all your needs met. It's communistic control where everyone still forced to provide labour and state (or private banks) is put in full charge to deciding who gets what, who can eat and have a roof of their house, the destruction of a free market and putting all value exchange under state or on entities control. When we accept and cheer for "free" money there's always a price to pay for it, either a year later or in some other way. Full on automation of agriculture production and logistics would actually move towards having needs met for everyone for "free" but certainly not "free money" through an UBI. Just subsidising food wouldn't work either as tax payers still have to pay for it regardless.
