3D artist/Graphic/Motion Designer (do it all) guy here. I've been freelancing for the past 5 years and lost a big chunk of money due to most of my clients using AI for their content creation.
There was a guy who made music, and I made the album arts and social media stuff. For a few months, I really didn't hear from him. I recently checked his Spotify and realized he deleted his whole profile. Both of us were doing what we loved. And here we are. That's just one interesting situation that I've never thought of. He always used to send me a message with his new songs and ideas for the cover.
The rest of the people I've lost during this time are using AI, and it's just easier for them. Can't blame them. I don't have much work like I used to have. This sucks. :(
