This information all begs a bigger question, what are the additional unknown factors that contributed to these collisions? For certain driver inattention is responsible but what about the AI system? I'm sure a Tesla has come upon a motorcycle from behind at highway speeds in the dark in the past many times and not collided, so what else is going on here? I think a review of the video just prior to these collisions has told of a deeper failure when conditions are just right. As a motorcyclist, I would like to know what those conditions are.
