I'm just going to help you all by stating the most obvious statement possible... IF we can't face the fear of new inventions, there's inevitably A LOT of things we're going to be scared of.
Mankind has always invented more and more newer technology, so what's the pattern here? There will ALWAYS be more technology to be discovered. It doesn't just stop at one new invention, it keeps going and going. This is how we are and how it has to be. We create and hope for the best. You can't expect us to just stop... that's not how things work. We invented the wheel, we invented weapons, and we invented civilization. No matter how sure you are that things can go wrong, you have to accept the reality that mankind will continue to progress in the same pattern it has since the dawn of it's time. Being scared of Ai is redundant, it has to happen, just like how the wheel had to be invented.
