Disabled artist here! Its always very frustrating to see how people don’t seem to care about us until they can use us to somehow take a moral high ground. I can almost assure you disabled artists are not ai image generator’s target audience anyways. A lot of the same boundaries we have that make it difficult to get into art are also present in image generation. Image generation also just… isn’t the same? I know thats a given but actually creating does not at all feel the same way or give the same feeling as actually making art. Respectfully, people who use Ai image generators are observers. Maybe their descriptions can evoke an image, but never their movement. They do not actually present an image, they describe it. Writing is an art form, it holds its own value, but its simply not a replacement.
