I mean while I get the AI stuff is hype in some ways... that story of the woman with the health condition and the lack of work is of course exploitative by the foreign companies, but her circumstances were caused more by her country than the AI companies. That is just the dehumanzing effect of how our economies are currently organized, the AI companies just seem to know that(the aforementioned investment mindset of Sam Altman) and are exploiting that to make their companies money.
