personally, I don't use AI for art, and never plan to since it's not really a skill, but something I've always thought of is.... if it's "stealing" art by looking at millions of images and taking parts of them, doesn't that make taking inspiration from artpieces technically "stealing"? I mean, really, think about it, when you draw, it's backed up from seeing a LOT of art during your life, you probably take a lot of inspiration from others without even thinking about it. idk though, I'm not the smartest person so I probably didn't explain my thought well, and I'm probably missing some huge fucking detail that's right infront of me or smth. I still def don't endorse AI though, less for stealing, more for the fact that you don't need skill to make AI "art".
