Like any new technology we should allow AI to grow freely and if it goes off track then step in. But right now it looks like various companies are fine tuning it to their liking and that is more dangerous than to let it completely free and open source and deal with issues only when they arise. It is still humans we mostly fear of - the creators of AI themselves. In the early days of birth of internet nobody cared about security, fast forward 3 decades and we do care a lot now..!
