How about stop releasing unknown and potentially dangerous technologies out into the public without knowing whether or not they'll be detrimental to society? Our government has failed us over and over and over again when it comes to protecting us from the aspirations of the rich and powerful. Imagine going to college to become something and drowning in debt, but there's no demand for what you're trained for because ai does that job now.
AI is not going to create more jobs than it destroys, and if anything, it's going to rocket inequality to even more unimaginable heights.
We are all (with the exception of the very privileged, fortunate lucky few) going to get f**ked even worse.
