So many are urging the President of the United States to do the equivalent of walking into the General Assembly of the United Nations to announce that there was proof of extraterrestrial interference on current day Earth. Yet no one is taking seriously the President of the United States going to the General Assembly just weeks ago to deliver another warning of vital imporartance to the entire human species, that the world needs to unite to use AI to prevent the development of biological technology that could lead to a mass culling of humanity. Note the President mentioned no nation, no creed, no ethnicity, nothing to identify who these people are who would do such a thing. Because whoever these people are, evidently they are extremely skilled technologically, yet if their true plans were revealed, every single country on this planet would agree to their arrest and confinement. One can speculate this group is motivated by desperation and what they regard are scientific facts, they are trans-national, and they spontaneously self-organize among groups of scientists. Is it too much to speculate these people are motivated by the conclusions of one of the first AIs, the book The Limits of Growth?
