I respectfully disagree with the idea of forcing a 32 hour work week on everyone just because AI might boost productivity. Not every company is gonna jump on the AI train(or get the same big gains from it) so why push it across the board. Stuff like reducing hours should be up to the folks involved like employers and what consumers or workers actually want.
Forcing companies to give workers at least 45% control sounds off too. Most people dont know(or care much) about making smart business calls. Unpopular opinion but layoffs are sometimes needed for a company to stay afloat and I just don't see a worker heavy board making that play.
What I do agree with is making it easier for employees to own stock in their companies whether public or private. Share values have blown up like crazy these last years which is why the rich keep getting richer(mostly paid in equity) while wages lag behind. With manual jobs losing value fast I see ownership shooting up even more in the coming years. This could be our last shot to close that huge wealth gap.
