genuine question that i'm kinda confused about- what exactly is the difference between commisioning and generating here? I understand that art is about self expression and creating the human experience, but rather than express his feelings by drawing the Angel Engine guy just hired someone else to do it. Is that outsourcing creative expression? Is that robbing yourself of what it means to be human? If you say that he is self-expressing through giving instructions and feedback to the artist- couldnt the same be said for AI? Perhaps it's about the storywriter's self expression and the artist's' self expression working in tandem. Or maybe it's about low quality, or how it steals the jobs of artists, or how it steals its reference images. idk tho.
