I come from a long line of poor, unprivileged people. We're artistic because when society gives you nothing, you create something from its absence that can't be taken. By no means a skill something given to you like a birthright. And Ai is stealing from the artist, its stealing process of creating, the emotion, the life experience, the commitment, and learned discipline. It steals your ability to flow carelessly into a world you can only see in your mind. That's worth the struggle of picking up a new skill.
