AI is a powerful tool. Nothing more.
A lot of trash will be produced because of how accessible it's becoming for everybody, as not everybody is skilled in character design or coherent storytelling, but at the same time, some absolutely beautiful peices of art can also be formed by the right artist utilizing it.
Imagine how furious painters/crafters were back when digital art first started becoming a thing as computers came out.
Imagine how purist and dismissive photographers were when photo editing became a thing (I don't mean Photoshop, as editing was still happening with early film cameras!) saying that edited photos are "nothing like lining up the perfect shot, right place, right time"
This is nothing new. The losers will complain and fall behind, the true Gs will adapt and overcome.
