If these companies were to just not use artists' work without their permission (then proceed to PROFIT off of that) I wouldn't care, I think AI art could be a great tool for artists.
When a human draws inspiration from a piece of work, we process that work through our own thoughts, emotions, memories, and how we may remember that work, then even when we draw it we have our own style, it comes out differently than how we imagined it.
An AI can't do any of that just yet, it can't interpret art like humans can.
And anyways, if the time comes that an AI can do all of that then the art should belong to the AI, since by then the AI is it's own person.
