I once used AI to translate a C++ Counter-based PRNG into Python. It worked. Then I wanted to implement a uniform-distribution wrapper. The AI suggested that I should use the "rejection-sampling method" (I don't even know what it was). It felt fine at first then after a few hours of coding, I noticed a severe flaw in the logic that would cause infinite loop. I tested the AI if it can deduce the error, but it miserably failed.
