I Expect that given the very low birth rates nowadays and the refusal of people to form long term relationships and have children, the human race will most likely go extinct.

Many other species have gone extinct during the long history of life on Earth. Humans are not exempt from that possibility.
And, if it happens, I don't think AI will have much to do with it.
