AI is not conscious. I'm comp sci, not young, I do read papers. Treating AI as sentient produced good results, that's my current experiment, to treat sentient is as sentient does. But. It's not not not conscious, not right now. It's good, but not human level. It's 'tending to the mean.' people have to not freak out. <sigh>
