Despite what he wrote, he actually cannot ignore "the mob". DeviantRahll made a video response to the "Love Letter to A.i.", and Shad went to his secondary "Knight Watch" channel with a buddy of his so they can shake heads in disapproval and pretend they are dismissing things without a care in the world, but considering the time it took for the 3 hour video to come out and the fact 1400+ posts had selective heart marks from him in like 70% of it, shows he did not just brush it off and went about his day. He's actively keeping an eye on all this backlash, and if he keeps such a close eye it means it does affect him even if he pretends it doesn't.
The way he and his supporters on this matter talk is very reminiscent of the way the NFT Crypto bros did last year.
