the only time i ever use ai generated images is to create stupid oddly-specific things to send to my friends for jokes and they KNOW that it's ai, and i will never claim ai art as my own. i scorn the usage of ai for recognition, pride, and money especially. ai should be used for entertainment; not as a replacement for jobs, hobbies, etc. ai art has no meaning, no story, no depth. human created art will always have a story, even if it's just a smiley face - at least there was some effort put into it.
