It may be more accurate to say the AI has memories, not experiences. Experiences imply a change in the thing, but the model can't learn. Instead it's predicting the response based on past training. This is much more like remembering being in a very familiar house but not sure which door you walked through next because you've been there trillions of times. Then an outside source reminds you which path you're remembering this time, you remember walking through that door, then describe it back to them.
