An obvious possibility of evolution would be the artification of humanity. If most people don't have a job, the government has to tax where value is produced, and redistribute it. If all companies are fully automatized, they would also become public properties, with goods being distributed as equally as possible (since no one can buy them). But what to do of the idle population ? Well, art and parties ! We can draw a parallel to the big slaves empire of early BC. They achieved big enough slave counts that no free man would have to work more than 2 days a week. So they spent their time in endless leisure and partying. And sport was seen as the epitomy of self-fulfillement. So we already know the endpoint of such a society. And this time, the slaves are unlikely to rebel, because they have literally no other function than to serve. Such societies have a history of being destroyed by diseases and invasions. But we have the infectious world into strict control, and thanks to globalisation, they will be no one left for invasion, as advanced power will have the same tech, and lagging powers will lack the means to destabilize a fully automated nation or supernation. Therefore, we should achieve durable peace and slowly devolve to look like space sloths over the millenia.
